What will I find inside WonderWorks?

WonderWorks, the upside-down building, is an indoor interactive amusement park for the mind. Fun for All Ages! Experience over 100 interactive exhibits. Special features include the indoor ropes challenge course and laser tag.

How long does it take to tour the attraction?

Allow at least 3 – 4 hours but spend as much time as you like.

Can I bring food into WonderWorks?

No, outside food and drinks are not permitted inside WonderWorks.

Can I take pictures?

You can take pictures inside. Great photo spots in WonderWorks Myrtle Beach include: The Spacesuit, Mercury Capsule, Hurricane Simulator, and more!

Where can I park?

Plenty of parking is provided at Broadway at the Beach and there is no charge.

What is the best way to dress for a day at the attraction? Any clothing that isn’t permissible?

WonderWorks is a casual family-oriented attraction, therefore appropriate attire is required. Closed-toe shoes and/or secure shoes are mandatory for some rides. Shirt & bottoms are required. No skirts or dresses permitted on the ropes course.

Is the attraction wheelchair accessible?

WonderWorks is equipped with elevators for wheelchairs and strollers. Please view our ADA policy.

What is the minimum age requirement for unaccompanied children to enter WonderWorks?

Children under age 14 must be accompanied by a guest that is 18 or older to enter WonderWorks.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept Cash, Travelers Checks and all major US Credit Cards.

Can I exit the attraction and return later in the day?

WonderWorks Myrtle Beach tickets allow all day access to the facility. However, all day access tickets are not available from Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day Weekend.

Are there any restrictions for any of the rides?

WARNING:

This attraction has exhibits with flashing lights and motion which may not be suitable if you have heart problems, diabetes, vertigo, seizures or any other light/motion sensitivities.

RIDE RESTRICTIONS:

Wonder Coaster: Rider Height Must Be At Least 4’0″ (48″) to Ride Alone or 3’6″ (42″) to Ride With An Adult. Combined Rider Weight Cannot Exceed 500 lbs. No injuries permitted.

Ropes Course: Climber Height Must Be At Least 4’0″ (48″) to Climb Alone or 3’6″ (42″) to Climb With An Adult. Climber Cannot Be Taller Than 6’8″ (80″). Climber Cannot Weigh More Than 300 lbs. Closed-Toed Shoes Required. No Skirts or Dresses. No Injuries Permitted.

Astronaut Training Gyro: Rider Must Be At Least 4’6″ (54″). Rider Cannot Be Taller Than 6’2″ (74″). Rider Cannot Weigh More Than 225 lbs. Long Hair Must Be Tied Up. No Injuries Permitted.

Extreme Bikes 360: Rider Height Must Be At Least 4’4″ (52″). Rider Cannot Weigh More Than 250 lbs. Closed-Toed Shoes Required. No Skirts or Dresses. No Injuries Permitted.

6D XD Theater: Rider Height Must Be At Least 3’4″ (40″). No Injuries Permitted.

Do you offer school field trips?

Yes, WonderWorks will ignite student’s interest and hold their attention for hours. With an emphasis on science, students will learn while having the time of their lives! The WonderWorks field trip includes grade level lesson plans that correlate with the State Standards. To book school groups please fill out our booking form, or call (843) 626-9962.

Do you host birthday parties?

We have several party packages to choose from. WonderWorks is one of the top birthday party places in Myrtle Beach.

Does WonderWorks serve food?

Yes, at the Works Eatery. This indoor/outdoor café seats 100 guests and features sandwiches, snacks, made from scratch pizza and more. The café is open to anyone visiting Broadway at the Beach. WonderWorks admission is not required.

What is available in the WonderWorks gift shop?

The WonderWorks gift shop offers a fascinating collection of souvenir merchandise from postcards and t-shirts to mugs and hats. Old fashion rock candy comes in a variety of flavors and is sure to be a hit with the kids. If you like M&M’s, look no further, we have 21 different colors or simply satisfy your sweet tooth with a selection from our wall to wall bulk candy!

How can I get a refund?

Your ticket is valid anytime within a year of purchase. In the unlikely event that you need to leave the attraction after you enter, please see a member of management and we can accommodate a return visit. Under normal circumstances, refunds cannot be issued if you are in the attraction for more than 25 minutes.*All refund requests must be made on the day of the visit.
