Image result for thunderstormStorms or thunderstorms, occur when the atmosphere is disturbed by conditions such as strong wind, tornados, hail, heavy precipiation, or even just thunder.

Storms have the potential to harm property and even become detrimental to lives depending on their severity. They are classified by the variety in which they form. Some storm types are, Ice, blizzard, snow, fire, thunder, tropical (heavy wind and rain), hail, hurricane, and tornado.

Storms occur not only on earth, but on other planets as well. The Great Red Spot on Jupiter is technically an anticyclone with speeds greater than a hurricane. Saturn generated an upwelling of warm air in 1994 which was viewed on the Hubble Telescope.
