WonderWorks in Branson, MO opened its doors for the first time on June 5th, 2020. That makes this year our golden birthday! (Turning 5 on the 5th.) Thank you to all who have visited and experienced the WONDER of the upside-down house over the past 5 years! We’re still a staple of family fun in the Branson community to this day.

To celebrate this milestone anniversary, here are 5 fun facts you might not have known about WonderWorks Branson.

#1) WonderWorks was built on the former spot of Baldknobber’s Theater. We still have a pair of its chairs on display! Be sure to look up when you enter the lobby to see if you can spot them.

#2) Our Bed of Nails exhibit is made up of 5,895 REAL nails! But don’t worry, the principals of pressure ensure lying on it doesn’t hurt one bit. It actually feels kind of cool!

#4) Branson is the only WonderWorks location to have two unique experiences: the Clip N Climb wall and the American Pride theater. The theater showcases the town of Branson’s mission of faith, family, flag, and fun!

#5) The Wonder Art Gallery is home to a LEGO model of the upside-down house, which was created with over 9,000 pieces by LEGO artist Gavin Pell. This exhibit travels to different WonderWorks locations, so we’re excited to have it on display here in Branson for the time being!
