WonderKids 2024 – 2025

What is a WonderKid? WonderWorks’ WonderKids program highlights student achievement in and around the classroom. Part of WonderWorks’ educational mission is to make science fun and entertaining. WonderKids is a way to recognize students in the community who not only take an interest in science, but also those who have pushed themselves beyond what they thought was possible. We invite you to nominate the student of your choice in either of the following categories:

special needs events for children adults with disabilitiesFuture Scientist – This award will go to a student who exhibits a passion for the sciences. They live each day as innovators and discoverers, hoping to change the world one day through their love of science.

special needs events for children adults with disabilitiesMath Marvel – This award will go to a student who exhibits an excitement and an expertise in the world of mathematics. They look at arithmetic and numbers as one of life’s greatest puzzles, and they have a bright future seeking careers where they can apply their special skills.

special needs events for children adults with disabilitiesModel Citizen – This award will go to a student who embodies a distinguished member of their community. They lead by example, assume responsibility, strive to see the good in all and brings that out in others.

special needs events for children adults with disabilitiesCreative Genius – This award will go to a student who embodies what it means to be an original thinker and an inspired visionary. They actively question the status quo and seek imaginative new approaches to engage with the world around them.

The 2024 WonderKids program is open to students in North Florida. Nominations are due by January 3, 2025. All nominees will receive a certificate of nomination, as well as 1 free ticket to WonderWorks! The winners will receive a special invitation to an exclusive live zoom/webinar meeting with a subject matter expert from SeaWorld, 3 additional tickets to WonderWorks (4 total), and a certificate of achievement in their winning category. This online event will be hosted in conjunction with our other WonderWorks properties and will all winning students. The keynote Zoom event will occur on an evening in early February 2025.
