Ranking The Top 5 Exhibits at WonderWorks Branson

WonderWorks Branson 5 YearsWonderWorks in Branson, MO opened its doors for the first time on June 5th, 2020. That makes this year our golden birthday! (Turning 5 on the 5th.) Thank you to all who have visited and experienced the WONDER of the upside-down house over the past 5 years! We’re still a staple of family fun in the Branson community to this day. Take a trip down memory lane and check out this article from Attractions Magazine about our grand opening back in 2020.

To celebrate this milestone 5th anniversary, we’re excited to share a list of our TOP 5 EXHIBITS! Will we finally answer the question of: “what is the BEST thing to do at WonderWorks”?! Let’s find out!

#5) Dig It! Sandbox

Coming in at number five, we have the augmented reality sandbox. We know some people who could spend aaaall day at this exhibit. (I’ll admit, “some people” is me.) The Dig It! sandbox is a bright, colorful landscape that comes to life as you move the sand around. Create mountains, valleys, ocean trenches, and volcanoes depending on how deep you dig or how high you pile the sand! While you interact with the sand in the real-world, computer-generated sensors cause the elements to react to what you are doing. Keep an eye out for some wildlife moving past your fingertips!

360 Bikes Ride at WonderWorks Branson

#4) Xtreme 360 Bikes

For the number four spot, we chose the 360 Bikes. Take a seat and take the challenge to pedal yourself around and around and upside down! You can ride solo or with a partner for double the power. Not only is this a fun exhibit to ride, it’s also a blast to watch others take on. Root on your friends or even complete strangers and start a cheer when they make it over the top!

#3) The Branson Experience

We’re honored to call Branson, MO home, so the Branson Experience exhibit had to be our number three. Guests can learn about the area eco-system, Route 66, and all that makes Branson and the OZARKS such a special part of the United States. They can also hop into a vintage Chevrolet Corvette for the perfect photo op! Start singing “Get Your Kicks on Route 66” and say cheese!

#2) Bed of Nails

This exhibit is a WonderWorks staple, so we had to put it at number two. What do you think will happen when you lie down on 5,895 real nails? Form your hypothesis and then give it a try. Don’t worry, the principles of pressure ensure lying on it doesn’t hurt one bit. It actually feels kind of cool! Many hear about beds of nails in movies as a kid (it was Aladdin for me), and at WonderWorks, everyone gets to try it for themselves!

Man, I wonder what number one will be…

Making giant bubbles at WonderWorks Branson

#1) Bubble Lab

For the NUMBER ONE SPOT, we have the iconic Bubble Lab as our BEST exhibit! A trip to WonderWorks is not complete without making giant bubbles. Everyone between the ages of 1 and 101 is sure to love this exhibit! Create bubbles the size of basketballs, blow bubbles through a bubble sheet, or even make a bubble big enough for you to fit inside. Be sure to observe all the vibrant colors in the bubbles as they float around—they are actually reflections and refractions of the light around the bubble. The colors show how thick, or thin, the bubble wall is. The Bubble Lab is a blast and a science lesson all in one! Not to mention it’s the perfect photo spot to make your next Insta post POP in the feed!
