How WonderWorks incorporate AI into our attraction:
AI is transforming STEM industries and STEM education in many ways. It’s changing the way students learn, providing new opportunities for personalized education, and more. Several WonderWorks exhibits utilize AI to enhance the games, effects, and experiences for guests.
Magic Canvas AI uses AI to transform what the participant draws on a tablet screen with their fingertips and enhances it on the big screen, turning a simple sketch into a colorful masterpiece.
Dig It! Sandbox uses the complimentary technologies of Augmented Reality (AR) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) to create a dynamic, interactive digital landscape on real sand. Guests can build mountains or dig trenches, and watch as the environment changes with them.
Fun Fact: While it feels new, the field of AI actually dates back to the 1950s! Theoretical work by Alan Turing laid the groundwork in the early 1950s, then the field officially launched in 1956 when it was founded at the Dartmouth Conference.
