Science Week 2026
February 16 – February 20
Don’t let the cold weather get you down this winter break. Warm up inside at WonderWorks during our Science Week event! From February 16th through 20th, we will be hosting five days worth of educational activities for guests to get hands-on with STEM! The upside-down amusement park is the perfect “stay-cation” outing to stay warm and have fun with the entire family.
Monday, Thursday, and Friday’s events will start at 1:00 p.m. and are just $5 to participate in. Tuesday and Wednesday’s events will start at 12:00 p.m. and are FREE for all! Register online or buy participation tickets at the door.
Monday, February 16, 2026:
Meteorology Monday
A storm of FUN is brewing! Come get blown away with a Meteorology Monday session from 1 – 3 PM to kick things off. Learn about wintery weather facts, try your hand at DIY weather phenomenon science experiments, and more.
Tuesday, February 17, 2026:
Egg Drop
Watch out below – Eggs are falling in the Canyon! Join us for our annual Egg Drop Contest from 12 – 2 PM to see if you’ve got what it takes! Participants will put their engineering skills to the test and attempt to prevent their egg from breaking as it hits the ground. Supplies will be provided and participation is free.
Wednesday, February 18, 2026:
Destiny USA’s Winter Break Bash
Visit the WonderWorks table at the Winter Break Bash event happening from 12 – 2 PM in the Canyon area of the mall. Our wonderful team will be helping attendees create dancing art through an electrifying science experiment, handing out Professor Wonder activity sheets, giving away special coupon offers, and more. This is a free event hosted by the mall and will feature lots more fun activities from other stores.
Thursday, February 19, 2026:
Color Me Curious!
Get ready to have a stroke of genius and put the “A” back in STEAM. Create pop art, watch a colorful elephant toothpaste explosion, and more from 1 – 3 PM on this creative, hands-on day.
Friday, February 20, 2026:
Animal Wonders with Rosamond Gifford Zoo
Wrap up Science Week with a can’t-miss session with Rosamond Gifford Zoo from 1 – 3 PM! Get up-close looks at animal biofacts, including tracks, pelts, skulls, teeth, and more.
