WonderWorks

WonderWorks offers a wealth of fun and engaging activities for guests to explore. With over 42,000 square feet of “edutainment,” WonderWorks is an indoor amusement park for the mind. The over 100 hands-on exhibits include physical challenges, a look at space discovery, natural disaster simulators, a light and sound zone, the far-out art gallery, and much more. With two floors filled with things to do, some activities will interest everyone.

Dollywood

Music, food, laughter, and rides are hard to beat for family fun. This destination is on the best list because families from around the world love it. The theme park offers fun for all ages, dining, shows, rides, a water park, and more. Don’t miss having dinner at Dolly Parton’s Stampede just down the street from the park for a great show alongside food and fun.

Smoky Mountain National Park

No trip to the area would be complete without checking out this beautiful park. Whether riding through the park to see the view or hiking on one of the trails, there are options for everyone. Don’t miss Clingman’s Dome, which is the highest point in the area.

Pirates Voyage

Old Mill Restaurant

Old Mill Restaurant is one of the top places families like to eat while visiting the area. They offer a great menu, affordable prices, and an enjoyable atmosphere for parties of all sizes. The mill was built in 1830, making it a historical place steeped in Southern hospitality.

According to the Pigeon Forge Department of Tourism, two-thirds of the nation’s population east of the Mississippi River lives within a day’s drive to the city.
